Dr. Britton Arey is a psychiatrist in Orange County, California, who practices both psychotherapy and medication management for patients with a wide range of psychiatric issues.

Dr. Britton Ashley Arey is a Cedars Sinai and UCLA trained psychiatrist providing psychotherapy and medication management to patients in Orange County, California. From individuals with disabling symptoms requiring intensive therapy and/or medications, to successful individuals who want to explore their issues and reach their full potential, Dr. Arey has been trained in the latest in psychotherapeutic modalities to help people achieve their personal goals.

Dr. Arey did her undergraduate training at the University of Southern California, and graduated from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine in 1999. She has studied philosophy at Cambridge University in England, and throughout her training has won numerous academic awards and accolades, including Phi Beta Kappa Honors, Golden Key National Honors, Phi Kappa Phi Honors, Alpha Lambda Delta Honors, the Outstanding Senior Golden Key National Honor Society/KPMG Peat Marwick Scholar's Award, and she was the single candidate chosen to represent USC, and recipient of the National Phi Kappa Phi Graduate/Professional School Scholarship.

Dr. Arey has been trained at UCLA and Cedars Sinai Medical Center in General Adult Psychiatry, and is a graduate of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute Psychiatry Residency Training Program. She was also the recipient of the 2005 Outstanding Teaching Award at UCLA. As UCLA is one of the leading academic and training programs in psychiatry, Dr. Arey has expertise in both psychotherapy and medication management across a wide range of mental health issues.

Dr. Arey has an MBA from the University of California Irvine Health Care Executive MBA Program, graduated in the top 5% of her class, and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society. With her knowledge of organizational dynamics and strategic management, Dr. Arey has a unique ability to help individuals overlay personal and professional goals in therapy and executive coaching sessions.

Dr. Arey has published numerous articles, a book chapter, and given several presentations at the American Psychiatric Association annual meetings, as well as the UCLA Annual Review. Some of her more recent publications/presentations include:
